Avacal War Practice is back and better than ever.
Location: Seven Persons Community Hall, Box 63, Hwy 3, Seven Persons, AB T0K 1Z0
Site opens Friday at 4pm and closes Sunday at noon!
Directions: Seven Persons is 20 minutes Southwest from Medicine Hat on Hwy 3 heading towards Lethbridge. Take your best route to HWY 3 in Alberta either from Lethbridge or Medicine Hat (suggestion the latter).
Turn South off HWY 3 on to 2nd Ave in Seven Persons. Turn Left (east) on Drinnan Street. The hall is on your left (North) hand side. Watch for the signs.
Site Fee: $30/person includes food & lodging.
Day fee – $8
NMS will be applicable for anyone without proof of membership.
Please make cheques payable to “SCA-Rhuddglyn”.
Lodging: There is space in the hall for people to sleep. Again, bring your own bedding, it is general camping on a gym or carpet floor. There is also space for RVs.
Activities: War classes will happen on the Saturday.
Extreme Garb Challenge (click to read the rules) – Teams compete to prepare an period appropriate outfit in the time from 6pm Friday to 3pm Saturday. Three teams of 8 max including the person they are dressing. We will also have a Medieval Fashion show. 4pm. People not in the Extreme Garb Challenge are welcome to show off their garb as well.
